30th Anniversary of the RG-65 Class
Posted under Information, News
On 30th June, 30 years ago, a sailing enthusiast along with his friends were at the famous boating lake in Rubén Dario square, ready to launch the prototype RG-65, which was called Lady Susan. At that time, they could not have imagined that it would be the start of a new class and that the class would have as many followers as it has today. We would like to express our apreciation here to Jose C.A. Di Salvo and especially to Raul Landó (the soul of the class) for their contribution to it

Congratulations and best wishes to all!
A small number of very keen RG65 sailors exist in Australia, and some of us have an interest in an Australian presence in the RG65 world. There are several JIF.65s on the water, and others are under construction (including a Laerke 65).
Fair winds and clear skies to all,
Leigh Peterson
