Today is a very special day in the RG65 history.
Is the first time that we change a General Manager in the ICA and is the first time ,also, that the Class manager is not an Argentine.
I want to thanks all of you for the great work and effort you have done for the grow of this class.
I want to wish the best to Antoine as the new General Manager and Pascal as the next World Championship Chairman. I know that they loves this class and his management will be excellent.
Antoine and Pascal, anything you want, please not doubt to ask me. It wiil be a pleasure for me to help.
We have a lot to do in the next years, but, with your work, it will be easy do do it.
The RG65 Class is growing!!!!!

With the approval of the members of the AICRG65.
From 1st. of March 2010 are in effect the new rules rg65 2010.
Estimados amigos:Hace 2 años atrás, tuve en mente el proyecto de crear una Asociación que incluya a todos los países que contaran con RG65. Hoy, dos años después, creo que fue un proyecto que beneficio a la Clase RG65. Si bien hasta ahora esta tarea continua siendo un Proyecto de Asociación, estimo que ha llegado el momento de la Construcción. Con el termino Construcción me refiero a que es el momento de empezar a construir la Asociación, respetando sus Estatutos y su esquema de funcionamiento. Nombrando a sus Autoridades, Presidente, Vice-presidente, etc. en forma democrática. Para que esto pueda ocurrir he decidido dejar mi cargo de Coordinador General para que cada uno de ustedes (representantes de los países miembros) pueda elegir las autoridades que guiarán los destinos de la Clase RG65 de aquí en adelante.Quiero agradecer a cada uno de ustedes el excelente trabajo que han hecho para que la Clase RG65 haya crecido de la manera que existe hoy.También quiero destacar el gran apoyo que me han brindado para que este Proyecto sea una realidad. Un agradecimiento muy especial a Francisco Sampedro, ya que su aporte desinteresado y su gran entusiasmo, esta Asociación no hubiera llegado ha ser lo que es hoy.
Queda mucho por hacer,
1- Constituir la primera Comisión Directiva.
2- El Campeonato Mundial Argentina 2010,
3- Estudiar los Reglamentos.
4- Reforzar los vínculos entre países.
5- Buscar nuevos países miembros (Australia, Nueva Zelanda, Italia)
Esto es solo el inicio de un gran proyecto. Hoy contamos con 9 países y +/- 1100 barcos registrados que serán muchos mas en los próximos años.Un gran abrazo para todos, y nuevamente muchas gracias a todos.Maximo LangePD: Luego de 15 años de trabajo para la Clase RG65 me tomaré unas pequeñas vacaciones. No significa que no estaré en contacto con Ustedes.

On 15th June 2008, Mr. Julio Blanco (Captain of the Urquiza Fleet) visited the Velaturia Fleet in his visit around Spain.
Julio sailed with some components of the VelaTuria Fleet in the Palace Felipe of Valencia town.
President of the Valencian Club (Antonio Ortega) did delivery to him of the card of the Club like honorary member.
Mr. Julio Blanco also spoke with Fredo Vollmer, sailed his fantastic Palote and with Francisco Sampedro (President of the AERG).
On 30th June, 30 years ago, a sailing enthusiast along with his friends were at the famous boating lake in Rubén Dario square, ready to launch the prototype RG-65, which was called Lady Susan. At that time, they could not have imagined that it would be the start of a new class and that the class would have as many followers as it has today. We would like to express our apreciation here to Jose C.A. Di Salvo and especially to Raul Landó (the soul of the class) for their contribution to it
